My Neighborhood

Just very recently, something bad happened to one of my neighbors. He had a drinking session with a friend and went home heavily drunk by midnight. Probably awoken by the urge to pee, he got up to go to the bathroom which is located at the first floor of the house. Unfortunately, he fell down the stairs and knocked the back of his head on the steps.

Unable to move any part of his body, he could not be taken to the hospital by the neighbors. So, they had to call an ambulance to take him away. I sincerely hope he would be fine.

What’s ironic about this event is that, that neighbor drives his motorcycle to work every day and he never get into accidents in the highway, minor or otherwise. Who would ever know that the accident would happen in the safety of his home?

Well, I hope that we will learn from this sad event. We have to be careful at all times.. Better yet, don’t drink MUCH..
